"Helping people with physical disabilities become more independent through the use of service dogs and the sharing of God's promises."

As a non-profit organization Promising Partners depends on the generosity of private donors and foundations to cover the expenses of raising and training the service dogs. Each service dog is valued at close to $10,000 by the time they are placed. Our clients pay only a small placement fee of $250. That is why your gifts are so important to us!

Sponsor a Service Dog - You or your company can sponsor a service dog throughout it's training. By doing this you will get to name the puppy and receive information and updates on it as it goes through our program. You will also receive a framed picture of the dog and client once the dog has graduated from the program. Not to mention you will have the satisfaction of knowing that through your generosity someone's life has been changed. Cost $5,000-$10,000.

Help with Training Expenses - Aside of the cost to care for a dog as it goes through the program, it costs a lot to actually implement the training necessary. Each dog requires different equipment, housing, food, and medical expenses not to mention the expense of actually training the dogs. If would like to help cover these expenses donations in any amount are welcome!

Make a General Donation - As a new organization we are in need of general funds to purchase necessary supplies and cover operational costs. Your donation in this area is greatly appreciated!

Hold a Fundraiser - If you enjoy planning events and would like to hold a fundraiser to benefit Promising Partners we would love to know about it and will provide any information and assistance that you or your group might need.

Our needs are constantly changing, currently this is what we are in need of.

Land - As a new organization we do not yet have a permanent location. Our ideal location would be a few miles outside of Ellinwood, KS, in any direction.

Van - We are also in need of a full-size van, preferably one equipped with an Under Van Lift or capable of having one installed.

Training Supplies - Donations of dog food and training treats are always welcome! We use Nutro Lamb and Rice for food and for training often use hot dogs and easy cheese in addition to dog food.

Wheelchairs - We are in need of both manual and motorized wheelchairs to use while training the dogs. They do not need to be shiny and new, just operational to that our dogs can become accustomed to working around them.

Dogs/Puppies - We are currently looking for dogs to train. Labradors and Golden Retrievers are our preference. Puppies must come from breeder with certification papers for parents. Adult dogs are preferred to have papers and have passed hip exams. All dogs must pass a temperament test prior to being accepted into the program.
